SPRINT LENGTH

Get your feet wet (literally) at this introductory or super speedy distance. If you like enduring for only short periods of time, Sprint is your jam.

All the great parts of the race course, none of the extra. In and out! Who doesn’t like that?

SWIM – 750 M Sprint competitors swim one lap from the beach at Coleman Park. Click here to view up to date water quality reports in Morro Bay.

KAYAK/SUP
Tours Morro Bay in clockwise direction, course and turns are clearly marked with buoys. The paddle starts and ends at South Beach. See the Kayak & SUP page for details

BIKE – 20.5 K
Police on course.  All athletes must follow the rules of the road. Our spectacular bike course starts and finish on the Morro Bay Embarcadero and gives a sampling of Highway 1, the Central California Coast, and beautiful Cayucos. There will be an aid station approximately half way through the ride. Remember to pack the appropriate amount of nutrition and water on your bike!

RUN – 5.4K
The course is a mix of fire road, boardwalk and hard packed sand, it’s flat and very scenic. There will be Aid Stations every 2 miles.

OLYMPIC LENGTH

The classic distance – requiring more training and strategy. Paddle or swim the protected harbor, ride down highway 1 and through seaside Cayucos.  On foot, you’ll explore some additional rocky areas + at the turn around, the rock brings you home to a sea of supporters at the finish line.

SWIM – 1.5K
